“These new pieces are markedly different from most of my past work in that they're less about surface and more about depth. All of the new work is sculptural. My approach to past work brought the composition to the viewer, these new pieces bring the viewer to the composition.”

Kauri Gossamer, 23 x 6 x 7 in Hand-shaped glass off the pipe, with a coloration created by numerous layers of sifted powder in small quantities and sterling silver foil.  Two individual pieces are joined on the pipe to create a statuesque vertical form.  The viewer must encircle the piece to appreciate the organic form and subtle coloration.  Cut and polished top.
